Is it possible to do LLB by without attending regular classes? By self-study mode.
Answer (1)
No, you can't get a valid law degree without studying law in a regular mode. None of the distance mode programmes for Law degree is recognised by the Bar council of India. The BCI in order to mantain the standard of legal education in India, does not permit distance programmes for Law degree. Such a degree is still provided by a few colleges but it is not recognised by the BCI and hence not considered valid for any masters, judicial exams, licence of practice etc. So after completion of your graduation you can go for 3 year LLB degree in a regular mode.
Best of luck!
