If you are from ST/SC background with Above 90% in Boards. You have a fair chance of getting a seat in Nit. Atleast in your State Nit

Respected Sir,
This depends on your JEE mains Marks. If you secure more than 60-80 , expect getting some NIT easily as the cut off for SC/ST is usually near 40. To know more about the previous year cut off marks , visit the below attached link.

It depends on the Cut off that would be released soon after advance results. However , the cut off for advance lingers around 80-100. Thus it would be tough to get into NITs. The NIT's available for those marks would be the ones in North Eastern states and Srinagar which are not that great comparative to NIT Trichy .

It will be really tough for you to get any NIT and the chances are like 1-2% if you are an OBC candidate. For general candidate, 0% chance.

It depends on the examination cutoffs and your category

If you are from general category you are having low chances
If you are from OBC you are having moderate chances.
If you belong to SC/ST you are having high chance.
