Yes, of course you should read NCERT for physical chemistry and along with that a little bit higher reference if you can then you should go for it. Now as you must be thinking that physical chemistry isn't that much necessary but it's not like that as you will be getting various questions from it also and most of the questions you can solve by studying NCERT.
