Hope you are doing great there. No , Jee mains is not that tough , its just that the competition is really tough . It all depends upon the candidate , his preparation and his confidence.  You should not fear the exam , instead prepare yourself for the competition coming toward you . Success needs hard work and dedication both , so get ready for the same . Also If a candidate sincerely give , 4-5 hours sincerely on daily basis ,then you can definitely get a seat in some good government college on the basis of jee mains.

JEE Mains is not so tough, it is just about following the right path. I would recommend you a few things which can help you to qualify the same -
1. Practice and Revise every topic sincerely.
2. Solve as much Previous Year Question Papers you can.
3. Never feel shy while asking your doubt, make sure that each and everything is clear to you.
4. Check out the topics with high weightage and prepare for them first.
5. You can use some of the books
For physics
"Concepts of Physics by HC Verma", "Fundamentals of Physics by Halliday, Resnick and Walker",
For Chemistry
Organic Chemistry by OP Tandon", "Concept of Physical Chemistry by P Bahadur, "Modern Approach to chemical calculations by RC Mukherjee,
For mathematics
"Objective Mathematics by RD Sharma", "Complete Mathematics for JEE Mains, TMH".
there are many other books also which you can refer.
I would highly recommend you to complete your NCERT first, then go for the other books.
