It is a NAAC Accredited A graded college. In terms of Academics, this college gives tough competition to others. Facilties such as Separate hostels for male and female students, Canteen, well equipped library, laboratories, WiFi facilties, dispensary and Transport facilities are provided properly. However you haven't mentioned the course which you are enquiring about.  But the placements of Kongu Engineering college is quite good. Cognizant, ICICI Bank, MRF, TCS, ITC, Accenture etc are prominent recruiters at our campus. Mostly Software companies come for recruitment. Placement for Computer science and Information technology branch is pretty impressive. The highest package was around 8 Lpa. Placements for core branches are not so improved.
