Kongu Engineering is quite a strict college with many rules that might be a little frustrating for college students. There are strict rules to follow formal/traditional dress code and the crowd is not great in terms of their open-mindedness. The offbeat location is quite a disadvantage since there are no good places to roam around etc but there are no restrictions on basic freedom.

However, the studies and placements are quite decent. This is what matters in the end, all the other matters can be tolerated.
