Manipal University is pretty good for engineering and it also has a good placement history as compared to most of the private colleges. But what matters the most is your hard work and persistence in these 4 years of engineering I personally believe that college don't play that much role. Else don't worry about the ranking they change every year but if you really don't want this college you can look for other good private college for engineering.
