First let me introduce you to the subject, Microbiology is a study of micro-organisms, Micro-organisms include bacteria, viruses, algae, fungi, protozoan, virions etc.The scope in this field is immense due to the involvement of microbiology in many fields like medicine, pharmacy, diary, industry, clinical research, water industry, agriculture, chemical technology and nanotechnology.

12th marks is necessary for Microbiology honours in DELHI UNIVERSITY.Some colleges around the country take entrance exams too.

Microbiology without doubt has infinite scope. It's study of micro-organisms which are useful is almost all walks of life. Micro-organisms are useful in medicines, food items ; they are also responsible to keep environment clean.
If you have interest in it then you can go for BSc in Microbiology.
Generally for most of the colleges admission in BSc Microbiology is given on the basis of 12th Standard percentage and not MHT-CET Marks.
