Hey there

Yes for JEE mains I can assure you if you read each and every topic of NCERT chemistry of class 11th and 12th then you can easily score between more than 70 in jee mains which is a good score. But for organic chemistry you can refer to some other authors also just for practice of difficult questions like M.S Chauhan etc.

Hello Aspirnt,
As per your question, I suggest you that refer more books apart from NCERT.
NCERT will only give you a glance of types of questions in JEE. By using more books you wil be training your mind to solve various types of questions. Many of them asked in JEE mains are tricky. So also solve from previous years papers.

Hey! If we talk about only chemistry then class 11 th and 12 th Chemistry NCERT is more than enough for JEE Mains but if you are talking about all the three sections then you may face problem achieving qualifying marks. If you prepare from NCERT you can easily clear the cutoff, you need to just prepare well and keep your concepts simplified. Hope this may help you.
