hello Shivam, 

 it is the right way to follow ncert for inorganic chemistry in jee advance but it does not help you to score marks more. If your basic is strong then you will use JD LEE as a reference book which helps you a lot to score well in inorganic part or you will refer notes of any well-known coaching institute for your benefit. I hope it help you a lot.
