No neet is not essentially required for BPT .
In Maharashtra, the admission to BPT course is through the scores of NEET. The merit list is declared by the concerned authorities after the announcement of NEET score. The candidates will have to participate in the counselling process and then they will be given the admission.

Most of the private institutes have their own entrance exam for admission into Bachelors in physiotherapy programme. Many state wise entrance exams are also conducted every year for admission in BPT.

BPT (Bachelor of physiotherapy), is a four and half years undergraduate professional degree course which involves assessment, diagnosis and treatment of disease and disability through physical means.
