Hello,

NIRF Ranking ( National Institutional Ranking Framework ) is adopted by the Ministry of Education to rank institutes of higher Education in India.

It ranks institutes based on five parameters.

1.Teaching, Learning, and Resources

2.Research and Professional Practices

3.Graduation Outcomes

4.Outreach and Inclusivity

5.Perception

So According to my view you should follow it, as it will give you the ranking of the colleges based on the parameters one would look for before joining a college.

Hope this helps

Good Luck
