Backward classes are denoted by the letters BC and other Backward classes (OBC). The only distinction between them is in terms of employment and educational opportunities. Applying for an OBC certificate can be done via the Sachivalayam Grama/ward. The OBC certificate will be sent by courier to the customer's address as soon as MRO approves the request.
