The answer of your question is that the obc certificate has the validity of one year for example like from August 2016 to August 2017 so every year you have to renew your certificate ..you can renew your certificate by applying at district office of your city and for that you need to deposit the income certificate along with the application letter to renew the new certificate.new certificate will be issued within 2 weeks of application than you can apply for neet counselling

OBC Non creamy layer certificate is valid for upto three years if signed by district magistrate. It also varies from state to state in the case of state counselling.

In your case, your OBC certificate of 2016 will be considered invalid for the verification round of NEET Counselling. I will suggest you to get a new certificate as soon as possible to avoid any hindrances.

The validity of obc certificate is 3 years i so you have to renew your old OBC certificate from the local district court from which you have made it to avoid any issues because if you are unable to produce obc certificate you will be considered under general category so please renew it.The process of renewal usually takes 15-20 days after you submit the application form.
