Petroleum engineering at JNTU, Kakinada is a good and decent choice to go with. The infrastructure and faculty is brilliant even though the department is quite new in the the college. However, due to a bit of poor management from the college placement cell, few core companies only visit for recruitment. The situation may improve in the coming years especially due to it's ideal location near KG Basin.
