Panjab University is average in all accounts. It can't make you stand out or shine in chandigarh alone, leave out biggercities like delhi, mumbai. Please only land up here if you just wish to enroll in the course for getting a degree do not expect it to give any returns in life tomorrow. MBA courses is one of the better ones though but do not consider it among any of the better seats of learning. To give you a better understanding, please appreciate that despite the excellent resources and infrastructure the university possesses, the student politics, below average professors with poor exposures and teaching experience have made this one of the oldest universities in India a place which cant even complete with institutions have its age and resources. Student politics is pre-dominant here, no one would cherish, anyone succeed otherwise, students never really wish to compete or improve, professions take teaching assignments to have good family time,half of the professors would fail to put an impression on you that they know anything at all.
