I suggest SASTRA because :
1 .Sastra has good SAP opportunities when compared to SRM.
2 .Sastra and SRM has equal Placement opportunities.
3 .Sastra is strict in its rules and regulations but we do have good exposure.
4 .Scholarships are offered at SASTRA and they value your academics.
5.Now,we both have equal skill but he paid huge fees to SRM.
So,For me Satra is better than SRM.

i have friends who finished btech/mtech in both srm and sastra. These are my opinion

i am adding the list of pros and cons of each college, for srm univeristy the pros are:
 high exposure, enjoyment, extra activities, awesome culture , job in mnc
cons are. fee, expensive living, most people study there for enjoyment, not letting you to learn

SASTRA college pros are good placement, academically strong, learning environment,job in mnc, low fee, most people are dedicated to study

cons are as follows: no exposure,no enjoyment ,only studies
