Compared to last year, there has been a significant increase inthe percentage of seats in MBBS. From 60,680 seats in the academic session of 2018-19 to 75,543 medical seats, the percentage increase in seats is around 24.5 percent.

adith0070 , At the start of the New Year, the country has 75,543 MBBS seats in 529 medical colleges. Between 2018 and 2019 academic sessions alone, there was 24.5 per cent increase in the sanctioned intake of MBBS students — from 60,680 in 2018-2019 to 75,543 in 2019-2020.
