Xavier Business School (XBS), a member of XAMI (Xavier Association of Management Institutes), offers a two-year full time residential MBA programme, with  Finance, Marketing, Human Resources and Systems & Operations specialisations. The programme started on August 7, 2018. XBS aims at forming men and women for others who are competent, committed, compassionate and service-oriented leaders. Their motto ‘Nihil Ultra’ upholding the illustrious Jesuit legacy and commitment to creativity, leadership and standards.

The MBA programme in XBS has been designed keeping in mind the current industry scenario. It is an application-based programme where the focus is not only given to classroom teaching but also on out-of-class learning. We have hosted a number of G-talks with the focus on outbound learning where students get enriched by valuable inputs from the industry experts. The faculty in XBS consists of a mixture of both in-house and guest faculties with extensive teaching and work experience. The guest faculties include both experts from the academic domain and professionals from the industry.

Academic Program

The MBA course offered by XBS is a Two-Year Degree Programme. Four areas of specializations are offered – Human Resource, Marketing, Finance and Systems and Operations. The entire course covers 22 obligatory management subjects (OMC), and 8 Specialized Subjects or Electives (SPL). Besides, there are four Additional Requirements (ARQ): a) Project Work, that has to be carried out between second and third Semesters b) Dissertation Paper, which has to be written during the III and IV Semesters; c) Comprehensive Viva, at the end of the course; d) Extra-Curricular Activities and Programmes
