The New Education Policy 2020  that is introduced by the Government of India aims to re-shape all the previous aspects of the one formulated in the year 1986, i.e, 34 years ago so that the New Education Policy brings the teaching and learning methodology closer to the impeccable global standards of education.

However, this New Education Policy 2020 will not be implemented immediately and thus the Government of India has set an aim for the year 2040 for the entire implementation of the policy. Till then it will gradually introduce or implement the key points of the policy while collecting funding to sustain the NEP 2020 proposal.
