Hi There !

Yes.Before year of admission of the girl quota 14% in every NITs till 2017 but MHRD decided and finalized that we need to improve the NIT Seats for the girls from 14 to 17% in the year of 2017–18 and after 17–20% for the academic year of 2018–19.

2016 year, of 17,061 total students, 2,440 female students took admission into the 31 NIT’s across the country.
