The idea I have on this is about re-admission to a differnt course. Once you feel that you want to change your stream, you can quit from the course in which you are currently admitted. Then you have to apply for admission for the coming academic year. But it makes you lose your one year,

SOME COLLEGES HAVE THIS LUXURY TO ALLOW STUDENTS TO CHANGES THE BRANCH AFTER COMPLETING FIRST YEAR OF B.TECH.

YOU CAN EITHER CONTACT YOUR COLLEGE MANAGMENT REGARDING CHANGING YOUR BRANCH OR YOU CAN GIVE ENTRANCE EXAMS AGAIN AND REPEAT YOUR FIRST YEAR WITH YOUR DESIRED BRANCH.

BUT REMEMBER YOU HAVE TO BE IN TOP TO GET YOUR BRANCH CHANGES. ITS PRACTICALLY VERY HARD.
