Yes, you can change your branch after completion of 2 sementers but for that you need to get a certain CGPA that your college has marked.Usually it is between 9 and 9.5.

Yeah, you can change your stream in engineering but you can change it after completion of first year. After completion of your first 2 semesters then you can change your stream. Hope it helps you.
