JMI doesn't offer lateral entry in B.Tech.

They provide admission on the basis of JEE MAINS score.

There is BE course for Diploma Holders

And for B.Tech Jamia takes admission through JEE MAINS cutoff but you have to apply for admission in JMI separately .

Yes Jamia Millia Islamia allows Diploma Lateral entry.

The eligibility criteria is as follows :

Diploma in Engineering recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of 3 or 4-year duration with not less than 55% marks.
