In order to fill the sufficient number of vacant seats, the Central Government consulted the Dental Council of India to lower the NEET MDS cutoff percentile and corresponding marks. The reduced NEET MDS 2021 cut off percentile and scores will be announced, if available this year also .

Last year the, cutoff of NEET MDS was reduced by 18.935 percentile for each category, while the corresponding marks for each category had reduced by 66 mark

NEET MDS cut off for the year 2019, the authority had lowered the cutoff percentile due to the number of candidates in the respective categories were three times less than the number of seats left vacant. NEET MDS cutoff for general category was lowered to 25.835th percentile with the marks equals to 172. While the qualifying percentile for SC/ST/OBC candidates were lower to 15.835th with corresponding marks of 140.

So if there is a large proportion of seats going vacant this year too then the candidate can expect the cutoff to lower this time also

Fingers crossed , Hope for the best
