No, there is no exam for admission in SSN Chennai. 

The only criteria is:

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized board with relevant marks
• Candidates are selected based on their merit of HSC marks.

To apply in this college, you have to get the application form. Pay for the application. Submit the form to the college and then wait for the result.

If you get selected, then visit with the necessary documents.

The admission for B.E. and B.Tech courses in SSNCE are done on merit based on the marks scored in the +2 board exams.

 A cut-off list will be made by the college and candidates can apply according to the list. The counseling for admission is at the state level.
