No there is no home state quota in IIITs and only NITs have this.....
NITs National Institutes of Technology or NITs offer admission for 50% seats on Home State Quota basis and for remaining 50% seats on Other State Quota basis.

Home State Quota* Candidates belonging to the particular state where an NIT is located come under home state quota.

Other State QuotaCandidates belonging to any state and applying for admission to NITs other than their home state come under another state quota.

Hey there,

NITs have the 50% state quota for those students who have passed their class 12 examination from a school in the state where NIT is located. But there is no state quota system in IIITs, they take admissions on merit basis. Marks of JEE Mains And JEE Adv. are considered.

There is no home state quota in IIITs and GFTIs. There is only home state quota bin NITs as there is NITs in all the state s of India.
