I don't know much about this but the criteria depends from college to college. I am posting a link here it shows the criteria for one of the college. https://adtu.in/Courses/Engineering/Lateral%20Entry%20in%20Computer%20Science%20@%20Engineering.html And for iits and NITs there is no provision of lateral entry
