The reason why it's preferred to register as an old applicant is that NTA can consider the best of the two sessions. If you've registered as the previous login credentials then only they will refer to the previous percentile of yours.

Its okay, don't worry about this now. Focus on giving mock test and prepare well. Put in all your efforts for the April session to get your dream college. You'll surely perform well.
