The college placement is much better as compared to other colleges. Job opportunities are very good here. The college use to call mostly software companies. So the CSE, ECE and IT branch students have many more opportunities than the core branch students. There are a lot of companies that participate in the campus recruitment: Dell, Sap, Aptus data labs, Infosys, Amdocs, Tech Mahindra, MindTree, IBM, Directi, nucleus, etc.

No it's a good institute.
The only problem might be high fees being a private institute.
IIIT Bhubaneswar has good placements too .
Eventhough being a relatively new institute don't worry
Computer engineering definitely has lot of scope .
You study only core subjects right from first year  unlike iits nits etc.
