Scholarships with no out-of-pocket expense are available to students whose families have an annual income of less than one lakh rupees and whose members do not work for the government. There is a scholarship programme called Jaganna Vidya Devena that awards financial aid to the most outstanding and under-reservation students. That way, education can be equally accessible to all children.
