Not like that VIT has good rules and regulations which make the students away from these type of activities but yaah some will able to do by abiding the rules. Infact these all things will happen in almost every Colleges comprising of IIT'S and NIT'S.

It's totally depend upon you in which category type of people you are spending your full day. If you are in the zone of good friends then these type of activities will not touch your character.
