Hi govind

UP has got 450 additional seats as in 100 for GIMS, 100 for GMC and 250 for district hospital. And 10 % quota for EWS is for both education and as well as government jobs. But only students from general category will be benefited from this reservation. And yes it will be implemented from the academic year 2019- 2020.

Good luck

Hello,

Central Government recognized the category of Economically Weaker Section (EWS) from this year only. Along with the official release, they have also released that from the academic year 2019-20, 10% quota will be provided for EWS category in all academic institutes. The official news has to be now released by NEET like JEE where they opened the quota wile applying for JEE Advanced.
