NEET (national eligibility cum entrance test) is a Medical Entrance Exam for MBBS and BDS. It is for the students who want to study undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses and dental courses in government or private medical colleges and dental colleges in India.

It is conducted once a year in the month of May. If NTA will counduct NEET then the exam will be conducted twice a year in the month of feburary and may but till now there is no official notice.

So to get admission in MBBS or BDS you require NEET. After the exam their is counselling through which students get admission.
