The admission to PG courses in PGI Chandigarh and Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research takes place through two different entrance exams. The admission to MDS course in PGI Chandigarh takes place through the PGIMER PG Entrance test and for admission to JIPMER, JIPMER PG entrance test is conducted. PGIMER PG test is conducted twice a year in November and May for the January and July session respectively while JIPMER Entrance test is conducted in January and July.
