The entrance exams now a days is held for almost every degree whether it might be engineering, B.Sc or the Medical course like for engineering you have JEE Mains as a National level test and for medical you have NEET as a National level test.

Moreover it also depends on the university or the college you want to get enrolled with and the course you prefer.
