There has been no official statement from Indian Institute of Technology, regarding overall seats increased for Undergraduate programs. But the supernumerary seats for females have increased from 17% to 20% this year.
Also due to establishment of some new IITs' the seats have automatically increased, like IIT Bhubaneswar has increased 70 seats supporting female and economically weaker sections this year. And no seats increment for post graduate program is recorded.
