See.. tution  etc will give you ready made notes which are high yielding for the entrace exams. But yes there are students who crack the exams without tutions also... but the number is small. It all depends on yourself..  how wiil you prepare.. what plans you have in your mind.... If you are confident that you can  sincerely prepare by your own, then it is completely ok.
But the thing you must remember is that for cracking the exams, it is not possible to do every thing perfectly... so... at first you need to find your strong points  and make them strongest so that no one can beat you in those areas and also it is of equal importance to find your weak points and try yo make better in those areas.
So start preparing... best of luck

Dear Saikat,

Nothing is impossible. Same goes for NEET preparation without taking classes. It is difficult but it is certainly not impossible. However, it is suggested to take up coaching classes so that you get proper knowledge and know how to deal with the syllabus without taking stress.

Nevertheless, here are some tips on self study for NEET:

1. Get detailed knowledge about the syllabus.

2. Prepare a timetable and stick to it. Planning is very important.

3. Pactice endless mock tests.

4. Stay sincere.

5. Do not ignore weak points.

And the last and most important, do not take stress and always stay positive.

You can get further details on the following link:

But, I personally believe you should take coaching classes for best results.

Hope it helps.

Good Luck.

Hi.
This depends entirely on how you plan to study and if coachings fit in your scheme of things.
I feel that the pros of opting for a coaching is the rigid schedule they follow and the test series they provide which provide vital exposure to exam like scenarios.
Thanks.
