VIT Vellore has very strict rules and regulations to ensure the safety specially for girls as well as boys.
VIT Vellore girls hostels are very safe , there are guards and wardens for each blocks and all the campus is under 24x7 camera surveillance.
Girls are allowed to go out for only 4 hours per day and for weekends its 6 hours per day, but in any case you have to enter the campus before 6 pm.
The in time for girls for man gate is 7 pm and for the hostel premises  it's 8:30 pm.
Any kind of violation of these safety precautions can lead to strict action and suspension too.
So, my advice for you would be don't worry, it is a  world class college, so becomes mandatory for them to ensure the security of their students. And if you get a chance to take admission there don't miss the chance.
