It says in the website of Univ of Calcutta that for admission into MSc Physics a BSc hons degree is required, can BSc grads also apply for there or are they ineligible?

Candidate must have completed B.Sc.(Hons.) in Physics or it's equivalent from a recognized University are eligible.

Minimum marks at graduation required is 55%.

Admission is through counselling based on the marks obtained in Calcutta University Entrance Exam.
