Latest: CLAT PG 2026 QP Detailed Solutions
Dear Isha, As per the CLAT PG Eligibility Criteria 2019, a candidate needs to possess a bachelor’s degree in law. The law degree of law programme should be approved by Bar Council of India. A candidate needs to score at least 55 percent in his/her qualifying degree and the candidates belonging to reserved categories have 5 percent relaxation according to which they need to score 50 percent marks in their qualifying degree of law. Also, there is no age bar to appear in CLAT PG 2019 to seek admission into the postgraduate law programme.
Your score is 54.23 and you haven't mentioned your category. This is a tricky situation. Technically, you will be correct if you round it off to 55%. Ideally that is how percentages are rounded off. Your eligibility depends on which side of 54 you will round your percentage to either the lower side or the greater side. I understand that the application fees is not a small amount. I would suggest you to take a call on this.
