I've just passed 12th with science stream and I wanted to do engineering but my financial conditions are not good but I've heard from my professors that if you make income certificate than fees of you semesters will not be taken? is it really true and I from general caste

While filling up the form for jee mains, you should apply for TFW or Tuition Fee Waiver. This might help to reduce your college fees to some extent after admission. Also if your college has any scheme for scholarships, then you can given exams and with a brilliant result, you tuition fees can be made absolutely free. However, this completely depends on the your college. So it is advised that you should talk to your college authorities about this.
