Dear Student ,

As per your user profile suggests that you're an Engineering aspirant , so based on that .. you should choose science stream in your 11 th . You can also go to medical stream by taking science stream .

Now .. after 10th .. there are mainly two options . Either you can opt for diploma to get jobs early or you can pursue higher studies in professional courses for a better placement and research related courses for Ph.d or other job /teaching opportunities .

As you're an Engineering Student , so you can opt diploma in several engineering stream as per your choice and after that you can enroll in B.tech directly 2nd year through lateral entry .

With just 10th qualifications, you don't have much options in terms of career/ profession / jobs. You can give home tuitions to your nearby kids or learn some skills like coding, video editing etc and go for freelancing or can prepare for government lower post jobs which are available at 10th qualification.

---------)Science :-The science stream can be further divided into 3 groups depending upon the subjects one chooses

****** Non medical :- Science with PCM i.e physics, chemistry , maths group. There's no biology in PCM group.

You should basically choose this if you want to pursue engineering/architecture etc in future.

****** Medical :- Science with PCB i.e  physics, chemistry biology.

You should choose PCB group if you want to get into medical field like mbbs, bds, nursing etc in future .

****** PCMB :- You can even go for science with PCMB i.e physics Chemistry Maths and Biology  if you are interested in studying both Maths and Biology in your 10+2. But yes, it becomes a bit difficult to handle both biology and Maths. One advantage of choosing pcmb is after 10+2 you can go for both medical courses like MBBS, bams, nursing etc and non medical courses like engineering as well.

-----------)Commerce :- You get to study subjects like Accounts, Business studies, Economics & Maths ,Commerce etc. If you want to become a chartered accountant, company secretary, financial advisor etc in future, then commerce is for you. In commerce you acquire commercial knowledge required for business.

------------)Arts :- If you like subjects like history, polity etc then you can go for Arts. You get to study subjects like History, Geography, Literature, Political Science, economics etc. You should go for arts if you aspire to get into Journalism, literature,languages, history, psychology etc.

>>>>>>>  Polytechnic / Diploma :- After   your 10th you can go for diploma courses in various branches of Engineering like mechanical, Electrical, Civil etc on the basis of your interest.

>>>>>>>  ITI :- ITI is a skill development course which you can go for after your 10th , you can do iti any trade of your choice like Electrician, fitter, Welder etc.
