Some of the colleges you may consider are:

• NIT Trichy
• NIT Jaipur
• NIT Surathpur

You may also look for good private colleges like VIT, MIT and BITS.

My opinion,

1. Don't think on about new IIT's (unless u are interested in a particular branch)
2. Old IIT any day
3. Choose according to your preference (branch or college/stay near or far from home)
