Mains rank is 44 thousand means he can get into a decent nit and easily can get above average starting package in lpa.

Robotics, data analyst, web design/network will give numerous choices.

It's just not only for b.tech.,, bsc courses will also help in getting such fields in future but Master's would be required after bsc in related fields..

For more u can consider renewable energy and industrial production, food technology as they will provide good business opportunities in future.

AT LAST KEEP SEARCHING BUT DON'T MISS OUT A SEAT IN  AVAILABLE COLLEGE'S IN SEARCH OF SOMETHING BETTER..

Sir, with such good marks in class 12 your son will get in many ug courses under du. If you compare to engg. you can go for BSc. (Hon) instrumentation, BSc. (Hon) bio-chemistry, BSc. (Hon) computer science and many more. Then streams are also there in engg. And the knowledge gained from these Hon streams are more or less same. So you can go for these options. With such a good percentile many options are available for your son but these are most convenient.

Hello sir,

Your son has achieved a good percentage in 12 boards exams which is impressive and may increase his chance of admission in DU BSc Course in Computer science.

Now clarifying the situation, I must say one thing before you finally decide to send your son for BSc Computer science. The placement scenario is not so good for students who have BSc degree in Computer science as tech giants like Google, Amazon ,etc visit technical colleges mostly and not university campus. Between theoretically advanced students and students who have a practical approach, they always do find the latter suitable. So please do not expect good placement offers from BSc Degree. After completing BSc , if he completes MSc only then he has any real chance of being hired in R&D dept etc in tech companies but rarely in a very large company.

The admissions for DU had begun. For more information please visit this link: https://university.careers360.com/articles/du-bsc-eligibility-criteria
