Hello Aspirant,

Candidates who have completed engineering/Architecture/Pharmacy diploma programs from an All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE)-approved institute with at least 45 percent marks (40 percent for reserved category candidates) are eligible for admission to the second year of a four-year degree program of Engineering/Pharmacy and five-year Architecture programs through Lateral Entry notified AICTE.

But, there is no provision of lateral entry admission to diploma holders in IIT.

However, states like Haryana, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Uttarpradesh, etc provide lateral entry provisions to colleges.
