Dear Aspirant,
You have secured an extremely high rank in the JEE MAINS Examination. At such a high rank of yours, there is no way you can find admission in any of the NITS, IIITS or GFTIs. All these institutions provide admission to students with a much better rank than yours.
The top NITs provide admission to students with a maximum rank of less than 20000. The new and super new NITs provide admission to students with a maximum rank less than 50000. Some IIITs are even better than the NITs. Furthermore, the lowest ranked NITs like the NITs in the NORTH EAST provide admission to students with a maximum rank less than 1,25,000 for general category. Although you have a strong reservation of Scheduled Caste, still it is improbable for you to get admission in any of the jobs.
B.Tech/B.Arch Admissions OPEN
Even the good state government engineering colleges are out of your league. They generally provide admission to students of maximum JEE Mains rank less than 2,25,000. At this rank of yours, you probably can get admission in a low tier or very low ranked state government engineering college, partly because of your quota rank and some good state private institutes.
So I hope you understand the gravity of the situation that you are in right now. The number of seats in government colleges is extremely limited but the number of applications is quite huge.
