The easiest and simplest way to calculate or predict the rank is this-
[ (100 - your percentile) x (number of candidates appeared for the exam/100) ].
In Jee Main Paper 2, around 1,12,679 students appeared for the examiantion.
So the rank can be calculated as, (100 - your percentile) x (112679/100).
But this is not the actual rank, it is just a process of calculating an estimate or expected rank. The actual rank may differ from this as the process of calculating the actual rank is different and there are various factors to be considered. Now If the number of candidates in September session increases then your rank would also increase.
