For the JEE Mains examination percentile is taken into consideration for selection. For SC, the cutoff was around 61.15 percentile. While the percentile is dependent on the no of candidates and their performance in the exam, we can roughly say about the marks required from past trends. So we can expect around 40+ for tougher shifts and 60-70 for easier ones. But this just qualifies you for sitting in JEE advanced, to get seats at NIT, IIT and GIFTS, you have to have a minimum 80 percentile, which will be roughly above 100 for Easy shifts and above 80 for tougher ones All the best for your preparation
