Don't Miss: Best Public Engineering Colleges
With a JEE Main CRL of 184,859 and an EWS rank of 26,822 in UP for home state quota, it’s extremely unlikely you’ll get a CSE seat in any UP government engineering college this year. Even branches like CSE at less competitive institutions typically close around EWS ranks under 10,000, and your rank falls well outside that range. For other state-run colleges like IET Lucknow or KNIT Sultanpur, even ECE or Civil programs usually close below 90,000 to 100,000 in rank. That means CSE is out of reach.
Your best option now is to explore seats in private colleges or look into lower-demand branches in government colleges if any remain. You might also keep an eye on spot rounds or later phases of state counselling.
Hello with a JEE MAIN rank 184859 and Ews rank 26822 getting CSE in top Government colleges in uttar pradesh is quite unlikely through JoSAA counselling Particularly under the Home state quota. But here are a few govt or semi-govt colleges in UP where there is a chance of getting seat thorugh state counselling in lower rounds. College Names- Rajkiya Engineering College,Bijnor-CSE cutoff (1.5-2.2 lakh general) Rajkiya Engineering College,Banda-CSE cutoff(1.6-2.3 lakh) Rajkiya Engineering College,Azamgarh-CSE cutoff(1.7-2.4 lakh) so these are approximate cutoffs can vary each year. Also keep an eye on vacant seat rounds in JoSAA. All the best!
